A flea anyone?

Enjoying the Nook my sister loaned to me for our vacation. (thank you Sarah!!)
Being a frugal New Englander, a voracious reader & a frequent library goer, I've been taking advantage solely of the free Maine Download library.

Met up with an interesting lady at dog park whom also LOVES reading Jon Katz! She recommended, Merle's Door by Ted Katasote. I've just started it and tonight have had a revelation no matter how head over heels I am for Frannie...I draw the line differently than the aboriginal people!
Here's a quote describing the dingo's place in their family.

Lap dog

A little quick humor, thanks to my sister for sharing this...
I'm not sure I've ever seen anything quite so akin to our Frannie!
I guess Frantastic has a twin named Poppy out there somewhere...!!! 😉

Dear Diary

Dear Diary,
This morning at the dog park we met a small white dog named Zsa-Zsa w/ a honest to God bow by her ear... Her Dad told us she was Ms. Cutest Dog in 2010...my Mama tried to look it up, she cannot find it, we think her Dad might have been making it up! (Yeah, well I bet you don't have your own BLOG!) Bragger!
...luckily another (real dog) a German Short Hair Pointer. Dixon, showed up, we raced ourselves silly & then some more...
I plan to swim following Pop in his kayak today, my favorite new hobby...even though it makes everyone a bit nervous...obviously if I get tired, I just do the doggie paddle!!!!
Vacation is indeed fun, just like they promised.

xx & sloppy "O's",
Frantastically happy Frannie
